Chapter 6 -Third Trimester-

I can't believe how fast my pregnancy has flown by... already in my third trimester and my final month! It's crazy!

It's amazing to think how far I've come. It doesn't seem like I should me gearing up for delivery soon... seems like yesterday I was telling everyone I was pregnant. So much is still changing. She moves and wiggles all the time and she's always go the hiccups! She's getting bigger and bigger by the minute, so is mommy... and she's even given my stretch marks..... I was doing so good too, but I guess all good things have to come to an end!

I'm to the point now that I can't wait to get this pregnancy over with... I'm starting to get "too" big to do anything.... everyday tasks are starting to get hard to do.... shaving, getting out of the bath tub, even getting out of the bed! I'm way over all the heartburn too! I'm doing so good with my weight. I really thought I would blow up like a balloon, but I'm doing really good, and I'm all baby!

Taryn's rooms is coming together too... it's so cute! I love it! I can't wait to have everything in there and organized. All 30 million outfits she has already, all the furniture, books, toys.... everything! she's not even here yet and already has so much stuff... she's gonna be one spoiled little girl ~just like her mommy~

So, I've got 5 weeks left till my due date. We can't wait to meet our baby girl. We're so excited!

Chapter 5 -Second Trimester-

I'm in my second trimester now and it's amazing. I feel so much better. I"m getting bigger and bigger by the day and still so much is changing.

By this time I still can't stand not knowing what the baby is, I had pretty much convinced myself it was going to be a boy... everyone thought it was going to be a boy. At my last prenatal visit we scheduled my ultrasound, I think it was the longest two weeks of my life! Finally September 21st came. Honestly I was alittle nervous! I didn't know why though, I would be happy either way, boy or girl, as long as he our she was healthy. Matthews mom and my daddy came along for the ultrasound. The tech asked all four of us what we thought the baby was going to be... we all said boy. Then out of no where she says "how about a girl?" Matthews face was priceless and I cried, at one time I looked over at my daddy and he was crying too! It was such an amazing feeling and such a great day!

We've know the baby is a girl for almost two weeks now and she's already so spoiled... {just like her momma} She's already gotten so much stuff! As of now she doesn't have a name, but hopefully that will change soon. She kicks and wiggles all the time... it's the best feeling in the would! Knowing I've got this tiny living, breathing baby growing inside me is wonderful!

-How Fast Time Flies-

It's crazy to think Matthew and I have been married for a year already. September 12, 2010 was our one year wedding anniversary. Let me tell you it's been an amazing year! He is the best husband any one could ask for. He's been my rock, bestfriend, shoulder to cry on, supporter in whatever I do, and person to confide in since 2007 and being married to him has only made it all so much stronger. I don't know what I would do without him, he makes everyday worth living. I can't wait to see what kind of father he is going to be to our precious baby girl {even though I already know he's going to be a great daddy!} and to see what kind of bond they are going to have. I'm so excited to start a family with him and to see what the future holds for us. Hopefully the next 50 years will be just as amazing as the past year has been!

Chapter 4 -First Trimester-

My first trimester came and went so fast I really didn't even have time to blink. I couldn't wait to start telling everyone. I was so excited! Of course Matthew was the first person I told, he was shocked, really I think we both were because we weren't expecting it to happen so soon. We told our parents, other family members and closest friends. Everyone was so excited to hear there was going to be a new baby in the family. For my dad, step-mom, mom and step-dad and Matthews dad and step-mom this is the first grand-baby!

It's amazing what your body goes threw in such little time and how everything changes... from how you sleep, to how you eat and what you eat, and even how you pee {which is all the time} I really didn't have much morning sickness ~thank the Lord~ There were some days where I didn't feel like doing anything, I just felt so drained. All I wanted to do was lay around the house and sleep. Some days I was really nauseated and sick to my stomach and gagged all the time, but I never really got sick.

Just like any expecting parent we immediately started talking about names, how we wanted the room to look, cribs... everything... the list goes on and on! We even had our differences on what gender we wanted the baby to be, Matthew a boy, me a girl. Then just like that everyone started putting in their opinions about what the gender baby, some a new baby boy, some a new baby girl.

Hearing our little babies heartbeat for the first time was the most magical sound I've ever heard... it was beautiful! I couldn't wait to have and ultrasound either, getting to see our tiny baby was precious, again it {it's still an "it" at this time} was beautiful!

By the end of my third month, I wanted to know what we were having so bad I couldn't stand it, it was driving me crazy....!

Chapter 3 -Love, Marriage, and a Baby Carriage-

Christmas day 2009 while driving home from Matthews grandparents house we started talking about having a baby. It all started because in all I think we ended up going to 4 or 5 houses for Christmas that day, we thought it would be too much trouble if we had to go to that many places with a baby, so the subject came up!

I've been on birth control most of my teenage like and we thought it would be better to wait until after the first of the year (2010) for my annual doctors appointment and talk to my doctor about it. we decided that because it takes a few months for the pills to get out of my system I would go ahead and stop taking them. I stopped taking them in February of this year and had my annual doctors appointment in April. Everything went good and it was all a go from there!

We started trying right away. We waited patiently and anxiously for a few months. Then in June our whole lives turned around.... We're PREGNANT!

Chapter Two -Marriage-

So on September 1, 2007 Matthew asked me to be his wife and on September 12, 2009 I became Mrs. Matthew Ryan Spinks. I couldn't of asked for a better day in my life... I pretty much think it was perfect, but I guess every girl thinks there wedding day is perfect!

Our wedding took about 5 months to plan. We got married in a small church that Matthews grandparents attend with our families and closest friends there.

I couldn't ask for a better man to share my life with. He's my best friend and I don't know what I would do without him. He puts a smile on my face every time he walks into the room!

Chapter One -Dating and Engagement-

So, I know this is supposed to be a blog about Matthew and my life together and I really haven't even told you guys about our life at all... so here it goes!

In July of 2007 we started dating! We met through a mutual friend at the time (even though I had always known who he was, I had never actually met him). It was a great night all around. We had our first "date" on July 9th, I guess you could say that's the day we became "boyfriend and girlfriend." He took me out to eat with all of his friends and I couldn't of asked for a better night! His friends were amazing... and still are!

So all through out July and August we dated, we were pretty much inseparable! In the beginning of September he took me to the Smoky Mountains. We had an amazing time... it was wonderful! I had no idea about what was coming next.... While we were there he asked me to marry him and of course I said yes! I mean, I've never in my life met a man as wonderful as Matthew (well, besides my Daddy!). I was the most romantic moment ever... He hid the ring in the refrigerator... now sweet is that?!
We were actually engaged for alittle over 2 years before we "tied the knot!" Now I could imagine my life without him!

Now stay tuned for Chapter 2 of our life... Marriage!
